Turbo Reconditioning, Repairs, and Modifications

Turbochargers used on factory turbo engines manufactured before the year 2000 are usually able to be reconditioned cost-effectively. Each turbo is dismantled, and the work required is quoted before any repairs are done. Some factory turbos have common faults that require modifications to eliminate to prevent repeat failures. These modifications are included in the repair process. The Toyota CT20 Surf, Ford BA Falcon Garrett, and Navara Hitachi combinations are common examples of this.
